Plan your days out when holidaying with us at New Forest Caravan, at Shorefield Country Park

Paultons Park (tel: 023 8081 4222) is located just off the M27 and offers a great family day out with over 50 rides and attractions included in the entry price.  Peppa Pig World is a popular new addition to the Park and is great for the younger children, whilst the older children will enjoy some of the more exhilarating rides in the Park.  On a warm day we would advise you to take swimming clothes for children as they may want to enjoy playing in the water park too!  Tickets can be purchased online and discounted tickets are also available directly from the reception at Shorefield Country Park.

Snowtrax (tel: 01202 499 155) is located within a 25 minute drive of Shorefield Country Park, near Ringwood.  It is set within a stunning Alpine woodland, and offers snow boarding, skiing, ski-bobs and ringos.  The day wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Alpine Adventure Park where there are trampolines, forts and much more.  The Alpine Bar and Restaurant enjoys views of the surrounding woodland which can also be seen from the large outdoor dining area.  Open all year round from 9.00 am until 10.00 pm, Monday - Saturday and 10.00 am - 9.00 pm on Sundays.

Moors Valley Country Park (tel: 01425 470 721) in Ringwood offers something for everyone.  Whether you want to enjoy a peaceful walk, a bike ride through the New Forest, explore the trees through the canopy with an amazing tree top walk, explore the play trail, take a ride on a steam train, enjoy some fishing or relax with a picnic.  Cycle hire, including tag-alongs and trailers for younger children, are available for hire at the cycle shop, where you can take advantage of pre-planned cycle routes, which vary depending on how much of a challenge you want to have.  There is no entrance fee to the Park, just modest car parking charges of around £2 per hour.  The park has a fantastic restaurant as well as other snack bars too.

Go Ape is also situated within the Moors Valley Country Park.  Go Ape is described as a tree top adventure.  After a 30 minute safety briefing, you will be kitted out with a harness, pulley and karabiner and let loose into the forest canopy, where you can swing through the trees and simply Go Ape, with tree top hire wires, crossings using ladders, walkways, tunnels and bridges made of wood, rope and secure zip wire lines.  Instructors are always on hand and regularly patrol the forest to ensure the safety of visitors and participants alike.  Due to the popularity of this activity, we would strongly advise you contact Go Ape prior to your visit to book a suitable time and date as it is unlikely that you will be able to turn up on the day and take part.  Due to the safety and fitness requirements, the minimum age for Go Ape is 10 years, the minimum heigh it 1.4m (4ft 7) and the maximum weight is 20.5 stones (130kg).  For younger participants, there is the Go Ape Tree Top Junior Adventure, aimed at children from 6 years (over 1m) to 106 years, which offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for your little monkeys!
